Hand knotted by local artisans in Chamula, a culturally rich town in close vicinity to San Cristobal de las casas. The town is know for its extravegent religious celebrations and its many tallented weavers and craftsmen. 
The belt is made from 24 nylon strings knotted patiently over many hours to create a belt length macrame piece. We currently have 8 unique colours but only one of each, if you have a prefered colour palette let us know and we will match it as best we can with the belts in stock.
